Last day...Reunion III

Cute cousins

Kreg's family had this cool camping tool, we used it to make grilled cheese sandwiches and apple pies, yummy

Texas Tough Tessa

Tanner's turn for a ride.

On the drive home the boys wanted to see some deer, but they got ever better. We saw a bull moose...right off the side of the road.

Hike to Toquer Lake- Fam Reunion II

Craig and Lola with their kids, in-laws, and grandkids (Minus Steven and Carlyn-they came up later).

It was a long hike with so many kids, and I don't think everyone loved it. Kenny and I had a great time though, with the exception of a missing nephew for a few minutes. Tanner even got to fish, he loved that...thanks uncle Ryan.

My in-laws held their first family reunion, and we had a great time. Everybody was able to be there. I have way too many pictures, but I wanted to remember the fun...

There are many thing I would like to do...

...but here I am, still canning and going crazy in the process. I have to find some ways to entertain the kids, right?!
I have now learned that I am not supposed to pick butternut squash green...who knew? (thanks Kim)

Once upon a time...

...there was a girl who wanted to be a teacher. She went to school and, though she considered changing her major, she stuck with it. She taught 7th grade and loved it more than she ever thought she would (they are 13 years old...that's a scary thought). She decided to have some kids and start the greatest and most difficult teaching job ever...being a mom.
Here we are now. I reluctantly agreed to have a friend's little boy come over and do a mini 3-year old pre-school. I have loved it! Jack is our honorary 3 year old (he hasn't quite caught on to the school thing, and is a little difficult).
First day of School
Tanner and his bud, Rustin.

Every year since I quit teaching, I have missed it when Fall comes around. This has been a fun little adventure.
