Warmer days are here!

The last couple days, it has been closer to 30 degrees and we are in heaven! The boys have been begging to go out everyday, and I think the vitamin D has done us all some good.
Tanner and Jack were out with their friends the other day, and Jack would just sit in the swing and wait for someone to push him (Momma was shoveling walks...oh, and taking pictures I guess).

There ain't no cure for the winter-time blues!

It has been so cold that I hate to even leave the house. There are alot of things put together that have given me the winter blues! When it is 10 degrees everyday, the kids don't last longer than about 15 minutes, even if I bundle them.

One day, I asked Tanner what we should do and he said "Take pictures!" So I took a couple and Tanner even took one! One of these days, I will share all the winter crafts and games we are up to!

Choices

There is a fact of life that I have always had a hard time with...I can not make others' choices for them. Even harder is that I must accept the consequenses that others' choices may have on me.

I am learning one thing that is helping me...

When someone takes your life, turns it upside down and shakes, we have to believe that through hope and faith the Lord will help all the peices land in a better place than they started.

One more thing...

Charity never faileth!

Just when you want to give up on the human race, people show just how much goodnes they are capable of!

Every Last Drop

I gave Jackson some Ranch dressing to dip his carrots into at lunch today...I think he really liked it!

A few hours without a big brother!

Tanner was playing at a friend's house, and I guess Jackson couldn't decide which toy to play with first.

Jesus want me for a Sunbeam!

Today was Tanner's first day in Sunbeams! In our church, you move to sunbeams when you graduate from the nursery (the January after you turn three).

This has been a tramatic day!

Tanner has not wanted to go to primary. He has told me for a while now that he was going to stay in nursery with Mommy (I am a nursery leader). He woke up this morning telling me that he was sick....what??- isn't three a little young for the I'm sick routine? I just kept brushing him off. Finally, I am making breakfast and he pukes on the kitchen floor! At this point, I decide that we really are going to stay home and he really must be sick. That is, until he eats three bowls of cereal and chases Jackson around the house. When I told him we were going to church he said, "No, I don't feel good. I am sick, remember. I puked on the floor."

Need-less-to-say...we went to church. Kenny stayed with him during sharing time, but Tanner went to class by him self. It is bitter-sweet, of course. My baby is learning to live without Mommy.
When he came home, he said that he loves Sunbeams and he is going there next time!

I would call this a success!!
