"...a lot of fun..."

We met up with Brittany (my SIL) the day before her daughter's birthday to let the kids play, and we were surprised with a helicopter ride!

 Her husband is a pilot, and we got really lucky that day!

 To say the boys were excited, would be an understatement.

 They loved the wind the helicopter created, when it landed and took off.

 They loved the cool earphones they got to wear.

 Tanner got to be the co-pilot.

 He is definitely a fan of Uncle Kreg!

 I have to admit, the motion got to my pregnant self, but I am glad I got to go!

 Jack loved to sit by mom, and 'scream' to me about everything he saw.

 The views were amazing!

 We finally headed to the bounce house.

 The boys had fun, but Tessa didn't like all the big kids around.

 Slipping and sliding

Sliding into each other is more fun than sliding down to the bottom.

 These boys needed a lot of water to rehydrate from the fun.

 Of course, ice cream helps replenish as well.

 Hamburgers for lunch, helicopter rides, bounce house, and ice cream.

As we were walking out to the car to head home, Jackson said,

 "We have had a lot of fun today!"

Tanner is a great big brother.

 He loves to be praised and to recieve attention.

 He is super creative and loves learning.

 Jack is full of energy.

 He wants to do everything that Tanner does.

 He is does the cutest things ever!  We call this, The One-Eyed Jack-Attack!  He has been doing it for at least a year!

Things I want to remember....

I often tease my kids about not growing up and leaving me.  Kenny and I loaded the kids up one night for a quick run to the store.  I was telling them to stop growing because it is naughty.

Jackson said, "It is not naughty, it is nice."

Kenny and I laughed and laughed...it was so funny at the time.

Tanner starts asking Kenny questions about moving away from home and if his mom was sad.

This led to a conversation about where Kenny went to school and on his mission.

Tanner then asked Kenny, "And, after your mission, you went to Logan to find a wife, right?"

We have no idea where that line came from, but we laughed so hard that we couldn't even answer him.

The whole evening was so much fun.  We decided to drive through some neighborhoods and look at lights, while we enjoyed Christmas music.

That was probably my favorite night of the whole holiday season.  It was fun to just enjoy an evening together.

On another day, Tanner wrapped this big gift for me and told me unwrap it.

I, of course, knew what it was, since it was the loudest gift I had ever received!

What a great reminder that the best gifts aren't found under the tree!

The best gift I have is my family!

There is nothing more wonderful than being a mother.

Moments like this remind me that I am blessed.

How much fun it will be to have another little guy in 8 more weeks!

Christmas Day

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable Christmas Day!

We were each spoiled, we each felt of the spirit, and we each enjoyed our family.

I have a really hard time getting myself to sew these days.

These boys were so excited for Santa to come.  They put out cookies and milk, carrots, and reindeer food on the yard too!
