The schools had Spring Break last week, and even though we are not quite part of the school scene yet, we had no preschool or tumbling.

 We tried to plan some fun things to do, so we didn't spent too much time around the house.

 We rode bikes at the church with Tanner's friend Preston and his older brother.

 We met up with friends at the park.

 We went to the beach with Brittany and her girls (which is actually just a lake, but my poor kids don't really know the difference).  I didn't think the kids would want anything to do with the cold water, but I was wrong!

 We even had a hot dog-roast up at Brittany's house with cousins, and grandma and grandpa.  Tanner called it 'pretend camping.'

 Will seemed to enjoy getting out in the warmer weather.

 The boys and I certainly enjoyed the warmth. 

It has been the most beautiful March since I moved here!

 Kenny was really busy with work/school, so he missed most of our fun.  He is on his Spring Break this week, and we have some great plans for this weekend!

Such a cute mom and baby!  Maybe one day Kenny and I should try raising girls...;)

One

Will is one month old today!

I took a lot of pictures...and just couldn't narrow them down (the joys of digital).

I am sure you understand.

 It would be fair to say that this little boy has taken over my life for the last month.

 That precious smile is all the reward I need!

 After Will's bath, Tanner was excited to help me with this photo-shoot and kept begging to be in the pictures.

 Jack even joined us for about 2 minutes, before he ran off to find his next adventure (today, he has been proud to show me that he can jump like a frog...we will save that for another day!).

 Will's hair is definitely turning red (Kenny had red hair as baby, too).

 His eyes are blue, and his baby acne is finally clearing up!

 His digits are perfect!

 I had to get closer, as I can never get enough baby feet.

 Yes, I have fallen in love, all over again!

This was Will's way of letting me know that we were done!

 I am just hoping that this next month will treat me to a little more sleep!

Out

We ventured out for our first outing when Will was a about two and a half weeks.  The weather was great and the big boys were going crazy.

 We met up with cute cousin Tessa at the park.

 The boys had a blast, and Will slept almost the whole time...nice!

 It was nice to get out in the fresh air and visit with my SIL.

 I was pretty exhausted when we got home.

 The closer we get to normalcy, the happier I am feeling.

 It is really hard for me to feel like I can't be a mom, or to let others run my house.

 I guess I am learning to let go of some control...it is probably a good thing for me.

Recovery-mode does have it's advantages though.  For example, I am glad Brittany was brave enough to get on this contraption, because I would have lost my lunch for sure (even in the best of shape)!  It is going faster than it looks...the boys are holding on for dear life!

Brothers

I LOVE watching these three guys interact with each other (as long as the elder two are not fighting).

We caught both boys together in the top bunk one night.

It was so cute!

 I was getting ready one morning and noticed that all three boys were together in my bed and I had to get a pic.

 They love to watch movies on my computer and I love a couple minutes of peace to get dressed.

I am really enjoying this mother of three stuff...now, if I could only figure out how to get a nap!

First Days

We have had a lot of help from Kenny's Mom, and I don't know how we would have made it through the first couple days without her!  We are super grateful.

 The boys loved having someone to play with while mom was down.

 Will got his first bath.

 He still hasn't decided that he loves bath-time, but I am sure it will grow on him!

 One unique thing about Will is that he loves warmth.

 He doesn't like to be changed at all, unless it is right by a roaring fire!

 If the room is warm, he will sleep most of the night, but if it is below 75, he wakes constantly.

 It is fun to learn all the new things about our youngest family member.

We just love this baby to pieces.

He is a very spoiled boy!



Namesakes

Will with with his Great-Grandpa James.

This is Kenny's grandpa.

 It was so cute to see Grandpa spend time with and admire this little guy.

 I know that Will will treasure these pictures when he is older.

Both Kenny and I have a Grandpa named James.  There are a lot of James' in the family, including my Dad.  William is also a family name...Kenny's great-grandpa...William Thompson.

I have wanted each of my kids to have a family name as part of their name, and Will has plenty of options.
