30 Reasons to be happy....

...from my first 3o years!

 1.  My marriage...if you don't know Kenny, you are missing out.  He really is the greatest thing in my life.  The best decision I ever made!

2.  Tanner...there is nothing greater than holding your first child for the first time!

3.  Jackson...my life would be so boring with out his lively personality and sense of humor!

4.  My mom...who sacrificed so much to raise us.

5.  My siblings...we definitely didn't have the easiest childhood, but, at least, we always had each other (and still do).

 6.  Testimony of the Savior and his gospel (that would be probably be tied with Kenny as my best decision...I am making this up as I go...hahaha).

7.  Utah State...Some of the best years of my life...and the great blessing of an education.

8.  Friends...no matter where I have gone, I have always had the most AMAZING friends!

9.  Mission...I can't imagine my life without those experiences and people.

10.  7th graders...I LOVED teaching 12 and 13 year olds.

 11.  Traveling...I love that I have had the chance to visit some different places and people and I still have a LONG list to go.

12.  Outdoors...I love to spend time outside.

13.  Water...love the stuff.  Swimming, hot tubs, hot baths, the beach...I could go on for a while!

14.  Little boy #3...I get giddy just thinking about this little guy soon to join our family.

15.  Phones...I could NEVER live where we do, without the chance to keep up with family.

 16.  McDonald's French Fries...they are just so good!

17.  My in-laws...I am so lucky to have them in my life and my children's.

18.  Sewing... my current favorite past time to release steam and get creative.

19.  Being a Stay-at-home-mom...I know it is not for everyone, but I can't imagine not being with my kiddos!

20.  Cooking for my family...I know it sounds really old-fashioned, but I get love to serve my family good meals, and home-made goodies.

21.  My Jogging stroller...I couldn't begin to guess how many miles that baby has!

22.  My exercise group...these two girls keep me in line and have become great friends.  I really look forward to this time now!

23.  Tremonton...Kenny and I will always remember the year and half we spent there as the golden years.  Whenever life get rough, we love to reminisce the time that is was just us!

24.  Herbal Teas...especially chamomile.  A cup of this after the kids are in bed completely relaxes me!

25.  Eating out...no dishes, no cooking, and trying new foods (this totally conflicts with #20, but I promise, it is possible to love both).

26.  Holidays...I tend to plan too much, but I love having a reason to celebrate...especially Halloween and Christmas.

27.  Birthdays...who doesn't love to have a day to feel special?

28.  A Clean House...I love the way it feels.  I work so hard to try and keep it that way.

29.  Days where Kenny, the boys, and I go out and have fun together.  We have so much fun, riding the 4-wheeler around the farm, helping Kenny do chores.

30.  A husband who tries hard to plan me a special day #30, even with the stresses of work and school.  Tanner who decorated the whole house by him self!  Jackson who wrapped about 10 different toys (of his) to give to me as gifts.

Fish

We tagged along with my sister-in-law's family, Kenny's Grandpa and Aunt for a little mountain fishing.

 We only caught 2 and things didn't go quite as planned, but the kids had a blast!

 Jack is such an adventurous child.

He was getting right into the river, climbing walls of rock, and having one adventure after another!

 Tanner also had a blast, but in his own exploring and learning way.

 The mountains were beautiful!

 The company was great...

...and, the kids were adorable!

 It was the morning of the day I celebrated 30.

 I think that the last 30 years have brought me more than I ever thought.

 It was a great way to start my next decade.

 The only thing missing was Kenny!

 We miss him all the time, but he is GREAT husband and father, and we are counting down the days until his schooling is over!

I just can't believe how much I love him and these two (and a half) crazy boys of ours!

Growing

 Yes, for those who asked, we will be GROWING!

 We will be welcoming little boy #3 in February.

I am feeling really great right now and we couldn't be more excited!

Our numbers aren't the only thing growing around here...

19 Weeks and counting...

Aggie Friend Reunion '11

We held out 4th Annual Friend Reunion last weekend. 

Four of the best friends/roommates from USU have now turned into a group of SIXTEEN (with at least one more on the way)!

We did the camping thing...in the rain.  Luckily we were on a family lot with 2 trailers...not so rough!

We had a great time, and the guys were so great to take the kids on adventures while we girls caught-up!  I sure do miss these girls...till next year!

An Apple a Day

The boys and I have been trying to enjoy the last few weeks of summer.  I haven't exactly been feeling up to par for the last couple months :-)...so we are trying to make up for it now that I am feeling a little better.

We have had a lot of fun "Summer Time" adventures!

 On one such adventure, I took the boys to pick some apples (with many visions of delicious apple treats in my head).

 The boys had a blast...at first. 

Tanner said to me "We are getting boring, so you can fill our bags while we go play."

They were playing so well that I couldn't say no.

 When we got home, Jack took one bite out of about ten (or more) apples.

BUT...the worst of it was that he took one into the bathroom and flushed it down the toilet!

 I flushed the toilet a couple times and everything was in working order.

No harm done...right?!?

 Well, three days later, the basement starts to flood. 

Thank you to a wonderful plumber who saved the day. 

In the meanwhile, we have a another great "tyke #2 story"!

We do have many apples and many delicious treats...yum.  Especially since I have had quite an appetite lately!

Preschool

Tanner 4 and Jack 3

 Little tyke number 2 is not quite ready for this.  He is really struggling with preschool so far...more on that later.  At least he is stinkin' adorable and can melt my heart!

 Tyke #1 is BEYOND ready.  He is so excited and wants everyday to be a preschool day.  He is outgoing and roudy and loves to learn!

Yes, I am teaching preschool again this year.  I am even shocked at how much I am loving it!  I love being with my boys, and I really enjoy teaching...for some strange reason :)  I will keep up with that later.

Bear Lake

Kenny and I took the boys up to Bear Lake for the 4th of July weekend.

We camped out and had a fun time being together.

 Still snow at  Tony Grove...really pretty.

 Jack liked playing with that tennis ball more than fishing.

We hiked, fished, played with fireworks, did go-carts, ate raspberry shakes, rode jetskies, and played on the beach.  I was bad with the camera, but we caught a couple memories and had a really fun time!
