Hiatus

Is anybody still out there...I was considering blogging again for a few different reasons.  First I was wondering if anyone was still there after my long break.

Play Ball

I have had a lot of trouble with the blog lately...but Tanner played T-ball this year and he LOVED it!  He thought it was great fun and his highlight would probably be getting his own trophy!

More firsts

Will is now five months.  I just can't believe it.

His brother found the toys to be just as exciting as he did.

April Showers

Ok, so maybe this was march...but I took these a while back and forgot to share.  They destroyed both umbrellas while tromping through the snow/hail, but I think they had a blast. 

I never used those umbrellas anyway.

Fishy-fishy

My boys took preschool-year-one swimming lessons this year!  I was so excited to get them started on learning the ways of the water, but by the end of the second week, I was glad it was over!  They both did amazing...and have been cleared to begin Level 1 next summer.

The best part was a little time to snuggle my sweet little one!

Losing...

Yes...another milestone.  They are creeping up on me so fast!  Tanner has been dying to lose a tooth for about a year now.  He finally had his dream come true.  The tooth fell out during his t-ball game.  He got some money from the Tooth Fairy and is very excited that he has another loose tooth now.  I guess there won't be much more corn-on-the-cobb in the near future.

Fun with Friends

My good friend, LeighAnn, came out for a visit, and we had such a great time.

 Kids got dirty,...

 Food got eaten,...

 Catch-up catting was enjoyed,...

 Laughs were shared,...

 Memories were made!

There are some friends that you know you can count on for anything...Leigh is one of those friends.  Thanks for the fun visit...let's do it again sometime!

The Last Two Days

We have had many things going on the last two days.

 My boys were up really late last night and up early this morning.

 They spent most of the morning at a friend's house while I had to take care of some things.

After a long day...I made a bad choice...taking them to a BBQ and swimming party. 

 Jackson was not being his nicest at the park today.

 A set of parents came and reamed me out....they were not nice.

They made their point...that I am a terrible parent.

 I kept my cool and was polite, but it really hurt my feelings.

 Why can't people just realize that we are all doing the best we can.  It is so hard to be a mom and I know I make a lot of mistakes, and my kids are far from perfect....

 ...so, CUT ME SOME SLACK!

 I imagine that most parents have felt this way at some point, so I wanted to record this so my kids would know that it is OK.

 These pictures are from Memorial Day weekend at Kenny's sister's house.  We celebrated with her family and some of their friends.  She took us on an awesome hike.  It was a great day!

 At least I will never see those people from the park again, and I can start fresh tomorrow.   Tomorrow is a new day...I love President Monson's reminder in Young Women's conference last fall...

A most lovable pest

Tanner made a dinosaur skeletal arm out of craft sticks and wanted me to take a picture of it.

He posed for picture after picture, but someone kept stealing the spotlight.

Tanner would get so angry and yell, but that only fueled Jackson's flames.

He ran in from the side...

 He popped up from below...

 He hid behind, only to pop out at the last minute.

 I probably took 20 pics, before I got creative enough to keep Jack out of the shot...he is actually right behind Tanner.

Go with the flow

We put in our garden...about a month ago...I am playing catch-up. 

Somehow, time got away from me!

 My two little farmers love working in the garden.

 Ok...so maybe it is more like playing in the garden...which I am usually NOT okay with.

 For one day it is alright...they were super cute with their boat.

 Sometimes I have to remind my crazy-self to go-with-the-flow!

We absolutely adore him, and I am so grateful to call him mine!

The one thing I remember from his blessing is his desire to be good and do right.  I love my sweet baby and will enjoy getting to know the person he will become.
