Birthday #28

Well, I am getting up there, but at least I can still blow-out all the candles (as you can see form this ridiculous picture)!

Hailey made me a beautiful collection of homemade artwork!

Kim made me the most fabulous chocolate cake ever. She calls it "Death by Chocolate" cake. That is the only way to go, if you ask me!

As always, Jackson ate very well. The picture is super blurry, but I couldn't bring myself to leave it out!
Thanks to everyone for the Birthday wishes, the cards, and all the hard work. I feel grateful and very blessed!

Well, we finally got family pictures taken...much to Kenny's dismay! I have to give him credit though, he was a really good sport!

Sharli took these and she did an amazing job! you might remember that she took some adorable Jack-Jack picutes about 9 months ago...she is so talented, especially if she can make this crazy bunch look good!

Kenny's Dad won his Silver Beaver Award this month.

We went out to Provo to see him awarded. It was a long meeting, but we were glad that we were able to go.

The presentations was at the Provo Tabernacle.

The Silver Beaver is the 2nd Highest Award in scouting for leaders.

Kenny said that he is just one of many young men that can say they have their Eagle because of Craig Stansfield!

Over a year ago my Mom bought some fabric for me to make Autumn a jumper. It took me a while to get to the project, but I finally did.

The pattern called for buttons down the front, but didn't like it. I decided to omit the buttons and leave the top of the shoulders open so it would be easier to get on. I didn't have enough material for buttons, so I decided to do ribbion. Here is the finished dress...

I was going to unpick the lining, so I could put the ribbon in the seam (yuck), but my sewing expert sister-in-law, Kim, had a better idea. She suggested sewing the ribbon to the front with a small square and I love it!
It is cute, simple, and totally unique!

Happy Birthday Michael!

Mike's Birthday was last week, so I am just now getting to it, but I did better than Steph and Randi's.

Mike was the last kid in a long line! I always thought that he was my baby, when I was younger. he is picture a the cute little tyke.

I always loved making halloween costumes, so Michael was forced to let me have my fun with him. He was always a great sport though.

Mike came with my parents to pick me up from my miss.
While we were growing up, Mike was my favorite. As we have grown up, we don't talk quite as much, but we always have a great time when we get together.

1. He is super easy-going and layed back.
2. He is almost as good at Rock Band as me (okay, so this is a little of an exageration)!
3. He let me play mommy growing up.
4. He is a way fun uncle, Tanner was really excited when he saw me going through pics of Michael!
5. He will do ANYTHING for you, he a great brother and friend!

Sorry girls, but better late than never!...oh, and sorry about having to share a post, but it is just like all those birthdays you had to share in the past! Just like old times...ehh?

I was only 11 months old when Steph entered the world, so I was never really an only child. Steph was four days shy of her first birthday when Randi entered the world, so Steph was never really the baby! It has been great to have sisters so close in age to me...well, most of the time.

The three of us were really close as little kids, then things got a little shakey through the pre-teen years and high school, but we are probably closer than ever as adults.

We always had someone to play a game with....Just don't play Monopoly with Randi, she will either win or quit!

4. She is always up for an adventure and shows us a good time when we are in Bama.
