When Lightening McQueen's batteries died, Jack decided to get out the tools and take care of the problem.

Labor Day Weekend Camping

Believe it or not, with all of our traveling, we have not managed to do anything with just our little family! We decided to take off and head up to the mountains during Labor Day weekend.

We had a great time.

Tanner was hammering on the truck and I told him to stop. He then asked, "Can I hammer Tanner?" What's a mom to do??
"Hi"

Going on a hike! It turned out to be about 8 miles round trip, but we did get to see some cool sights. I think both boys would tell you the best thing they saw was a dead coyote.

Yes, we have been doing something besides playing!

I, unfortunately, am starting in on another joyful season of canning. I have done sweet relish and have put many things up in the freezer, like this yumm-o spinach!

I shouldn't say unfortunately, since I am very pleased with all we have gotten from the garden.

I am absolutely in love with my little helpers too!

It was heavy and Tanner needed help.

Jackson broke two of my juice glasses in one week, maybe he wasn't ready to give up the sippy yet!

We went to the river to test out this cool butterfly net on fishing. No luck, but we have plans to try again! Tanner made us go home early when we heard thunder (which he is deathly afraid of).

Kenny has been working tons of hours and doing school, so we are having to keep ourselves entertained. I think we have been successful.

County Fair

One of the coolest things about our little town is the county fair. It is our favorite thing all year here! We have sure had a week of FUN!

We took the boys to the Little Buckaroo Rodeo.

Tanner is trying to convince me that he is going to ride a calf next year, but I am pretty sure we will start with a sheep!

Jack was getting a little restless, so Kenny took him up-close and personal with the Bulls!

Tanner said his favorite part of the fair was the Derby and Jack said it was Mater.

We have had a blast, and now we are ready to sit at home and do nothing!

Aggie Friend Reunion 2010

I have honestly been blessed with some of the greatest friends in the world!

We had our 3rd annual roommate reunion and it was so much fun!
