January Preschool Memories

Our theme in January was Careers.

We learned about many different jobs and a great trip to the fire station!

My computer was uploading pictures slowly, so I left some out and just focused on my kids at the end.

Our goings..

Our family has had a lot going on.

 Kenny just returned from another week in Denver.  The boys and I hate it when he is gone (especially me).

 He is starting another semester of school, but he graduates in July...I couldn't be more excited!  Kenny is looking forward to that day as well :)

 I am still teaching preschool and I am planning to do that for as long as possible.  Tanner loves it, and Jack is finally adjusting, though I wouldn't say he loves it.

 My pregnancy is still moving right along.  I am definitely large, and anyone in this house would say I am 'in charge.'  I am about 36 weeks or just passing 8 months.  I  will try to get some pics in a couple weeks to document this little guys pending arrival.

We are taking plenty of time to play trains with friends as well...so much to do!

We've got Talent!

I thought it would be really fun to have a talent show for FHE, so I told the fam the that we were going to hold our 1st annual New Year's Talent Show!

The kids were excited, but Kenny wasn't too sure about the idea.  Since our kids are young, Kenny and I each paired up with a boy and helped create a talent.

Birthday Bash!

The boy's cousin, Tessa, turned three and we went a really fun Princess Party at their house.

We made crown, played games, ate treats, and played in a balloon pit (the boys very favorite),

December Preschool Memories

Some quick photos of our Christmas Program...

 The kids recited a Christmas poem written by Bridgett,

 sang songs,

 had treats,

 were adored by moms and dads,

 grandparents,

 aunts and uncles,

 and, of course, their teachers!

 The first half of this year has been a lot of fun.

 There are days that I don't want to do it, but, I am not nearly as burnt out as last year.

I am sure it will be difficult when the new baby is here, but I will worry about that when the time comes!  I am really glad that I chose to do this with my kiddos.

My Sunbeam

Jackson is three, so last week he officially became a sunbeam.

He wasn't excited about this transition. 
He wanted to stay in nursery for at least two reasons that he voiced...
He wanted to stay with Mommy in nursery forever and ever and ever...you get the picture.
He wanted to play with toys.

 We really talked it up this week, and threw him a sunbeam party (making a cake), after church.

He was so excited and he did even better than we had hoped in primary.

I sure do love this little guy.

He really is a big boy now.
